Title: Construction Manager - Petrochemical 

Location: Varies 

Term: Contract

Job Description: 
Effectively supervise construction work related to petrochemical and chemical industry. Maximize productivity and minimize project costs through effective communications. Coordinate project issues between the Client and multiple Contractors of various disciplines working simultaneously to result in efficient project performance. Maintain quality assurance and policy compliance to include conducting inspections and audits. Perform inspections for regulatory compliance and compliance with plans, specifications, policies and procedures. Oversee safety and conduct weekly safety meeting, safety audits and oversee all construction discipline. Uphold the highest standards of quality including conducting inspections and maintaining close oversight of complex operations.

Qualifications: 
The candidate should be a skilled construction professional with minimum ten (10) years of field experience. The candidate must be familiar with applicable API, ASME, ANSI, AWS and other applicable codes and standards. Must have a valid CWI certification, TWIC card and should have past experience working at heavy industrial facilities. Petrochemical and chemical facility experience is preferred.

TitleSenior Structural Design Engineer- Waterfront

Location: Chadds Ford, PA

Term: Full Time

Job Description: 
Design of waterfront and heavy industrial facilities. With the guidance of experienced engineers, this candidate will lead the permitting, planning, design, construction inspection and construction management efforts related to a variety of projects including waterfront, heavy industrial and building projects. The candidate will be required to perform field structural investigations including underwater inspections with assistance from divers and develop technical reports. The candidate will also be required to plan, perform structural design, prepare technical specifications and develop bid documents. During the construction phase of the projects, the candidate will attend meetings with the clients and contractors and perform site visits to inspect construction work and develop field reports.

Qualifications: 
The candidate must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with emphasis on structural engineering. Minimum seven (7) years of experience is required. Less experience may be considered for exceptional candidates. Waterfront, deep foundation, heavy industrial and strong structural design background will be preferred. Master of Science degree and P.E. certification is also preferred. Attitude to uphold the highest quality standards is a must. The candidate should have good communication skills and be responsive and respectful to clients, colleagues, contractors and vendors. Must be committed to investing time and efforts in learning the latest technical developments in general structural, waterfront, heavy industrial and building technology.

Job Description: 
Responsibilities include planning, permitting, structural design and construction management of a variety of structures including waterfront and heavy industrial structures. Work with a group of talented engineers and designers to maintain and constantly improve high standards of design, drawings and technical specifications. 
Client satisfaction through technical excellence and responsiveness is Anchor’s primary objective. Candidate shall be an exceptional structural engineer with knowledge of latest AISC, ACI, ASCE and AWS Codes and Standards. Candidate should also be familiar with STAAD.Pro V8i and have the knowledge of field construction operations to develop practical designs. Candidate will interact responsively, responsibly and respectfully with clients and find innovative and economical solutions to their technical challenges. Candidate should be able to develop quality bid and construction documents with minimum guidance.
The candidate will also be required to direct and perform field structural investigations including underwater inspections with assistance from divers and develop technical reports. During the construction phase of the projects, the candidate will attend meetings with the clients and contractors and resolve field technical issues.  

Qualifications: 
The candidate must have a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering. Civil Engineering degree with emphasis in structural engineering is acceptable. Three (3) to ten (10) years of experience is required. Less experience may be considered for exceptional candidates. Bridge, waterfront, deep foundation, heavy industrial and strong structural design background will be preferred. P.E. certification is also preferred. Attitude to uphold the highest quality standards is a must. The candidate should have good communication skills and be responsive and respectful to clients, colleagues, contractors and vendors. Must be committed to investing time and efforts in learning the latest technical developments in general structural, waterfront, heavy industrial and building technology.
